ETA Hoffmann – Der Sandmann – Lesung

In January 2015 I worked with Ralf Grobel on the Reading of ETA Hoffmanns Der Sandmann.

I wrote the music for music box, saxophon, loop-station and electronics, inspired by the story about the mechanical girl.The notes had to be painstakingly pierced through self printed paper-strips (tedious work) and I achieved the volume of the music box using a piezo-pickup.
